Our client, a top mechanical contractor, is currently seeking an experienced
Mechanical Construction Project Manager
for our San Diego, CA location. With nearly a century of customer care and ownership, our client adheres to the highest safety standards and offers industry-leading building information modeling (BIM), design/build services, sustainable solutions, and complex mechanical and industrial system installations. This position will lead mechanical construction projects safely, on time, and within budget across various markets including Healthcare, Life Science, Commercial, and Industrial. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This role involves managing safety, field labor productivity, quality assurance, project financials, procurement, change orders, owner/client relations, project cash flow, and personnel management. Managers are responsible for directing work activities of their direct reports and must be available during working hours. Qualifications
Successful candidates must perform all essential duties satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. Requirements include: 5-7 years construction experience and/or a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access), Bluebeam Revu, Vista Viewpoint, and Quotesoft Estimating Software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, manage time effectively, and work with minimal supervision. Strong organizational skills for handling technical data. Additional Attributes
Ability to interpret instructions in various formats. Basic business mathematical skills. Effective time management and attention to detail.
