Run a full desk with sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of top talent to fill mission-critical positions. Represent SpaceX professionally, with pride and enthusiasm, as a candidate’s first encounter with the company. Collaborate in teams while maintaining a high degree of autonomy; take initiative and drive tasks to completion. Partner with client groups to discuss headcount, requisitions, hiring strategy, and interview feedback. Screen and source candidates; discuss screened candidates with client groups and recommend top candidates for interviews. Provide candidate tours before onsite visits and attend interviews to assist in candidate evaluation. Manage the offer process, including initiating background checks, negotiating packages, and extending offers. Some days involve multiple onsite interviews and candidate experience coordination; other days focus on building a strong candidate pipeline through screening and sourcing. The role requires attracting, organizing, and managing a flow of top talent. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of recruiting experience; or associate degree and 2+ years of experience; or 3+ years of professional recruiting experience in lieu of a degree. Preferred Skills and Experience
2+ years of technical recruiting experience 2+ years of SGA recruiting experience Experience with in-house recruiting and high-volume recruiting Experience recruiting electrical, mechanical, and aerospace engineers; skilled labor Strong tenure with demonstrated success in recruiting roles Full life cycle recruiting experience (sourcing to closing) Comfort with recruiting data review and reporting; ability to identify top talent in their field Expertise in non-standard recruiting methods and targeted sourcing campaigns Ability to interface with hiring managers at director/VP levels; build strong relationships with managers and candidates Ability to present candidates accurately to client groups and influence decisions as a talent expert Ability to multi-task and work with minimal direction while contributing as a team member Additional Requirements
Available to work extended hours and weekends as needed Based in Redmond, WA (Seattle area); on-site full-time with no hybrid/remote option Compensation and Benefits
Pay range varies by level: Technical Recruiter/Level I: $80,000 - $100,000 per year Technical Recruiter/Level II: $90,000 - $115,000 per year Actual level and base salary determined case-by-case based on knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Base salary is part of a total rewards package that may include stock or stock options, discretionary bonuses, and the ability to purchase SpaceX stock. Benefits include medical, vision, dental coverage, 401(k), disability and life insurance, paid parental leave, paid vacation and holidays, paid sick time (Washington State), and shuttle service from select Seattle locations to the SpaceX Redmond office.
