About the role We seek an experienced Senior Counsel to provide legal guidance on regulatory, corporate, contract, and IP matters across jurisdictions. This role requires a proactive, organized individual capable of managing complex projects and navigating regulatory challenges.

Responsibilities
Provide expert counsel on multi-jurisdictional corporate and regulatory matters, negotiating business agreements.
Advise product teams on regulatory compliance concerning DeFi and AI.
Conduct regulatory research and advise on implications for business lines.
Structure business relationships with partners from a legal perspective.
Monitor and advise on legal issues impacting product development.
Evaluate operational risks and legal requirements for growth.
Structure complex crypto transactions.
Manage external legal counsel across jurisdictions.
Collaborate across business units to resolve legal issues.
Build relationships within the Sky Ecosystem.
Participate in other legal projects as needed.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent, with active bar admission.
Minimum 7 years experience as Legal Counsel, preferably in web3.
Experience navigating multi-jurisdictional legal frameworks.
Knowledge of crypto-asset regulations.
Strong legal drafting, analysis, and attention to detail.
Experience with governance structures and complex legal matters.
Organizational skills and experience managing complex client matters.
Analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude.
Self-discipline and ability to work remotely.
Team-oriented and collaborative mindset.
Nice to haves
Bar admission in the U.S.
Understanding of DeFi protocols, AI, and related legal/technical aspects.
Experience in a startup environment or with legal firms.
