Are you a seasoned assurance professional ready to shift from execution to impact? This role is designed for someone who has found success in the audit and assurance space and is now looking to amplify their influence internally—driving innovation, efficiency, and quality across the firm. You will be the go-to expert for best practices, technology integration, and process optimization, helping shape the future of assurance at Rehmann. The role serves as the subject matter expert for software applications used by Rehmann’s Assurance and Financial Reporting (AFR) Department and functions as a liaison between business users and IT in the development, implementation, and use of software applications to support departmental and firmwide strategic goals. Responsibilities

Understand technology needs by collaborating with Rehmann’s Executive Leadership and Corporate Services, as well as the AFR Executive Committee and Sub-Committees and associates Assist department Executive Committee with defining and implementing policies, procedures, best practices, and guidelines for technology use Offer innovative solutions to support department and firm-wide strategic goals Keep up to date with new technology, identifying potential technologies to pilot and relaying these opportunities to department leadership for their consideration Implement new technologies, monitor and manage adoption Act as the product owner and subject matter expert for department-specific software and technologies including provisioning, deprovisioning users, and ensuring firm retention policies are followed Troubleshoot and resolve incidents within AFR applications Initiate AFR department technology project service requests and collaborate with IT to see projects through to completion Manage department-specific software contracts, license utilization, and relationships with technology vendors Develop and adhere to technology budget for the AFR department Allocate invoices for the supported software to the applicable cost centers Coordinate with quality management in organizing and coordinating peer reviews technology support Manage department technology application requirements, configurations, updates, trainings, communications, implementations, documentation and procedure development Collaborate with leadership and the training team to develop and lead training programs for department technology and related policies and procedures Participate in committees charged with leading the IT and AFR departments, including iSTAC, Innovation and Change Management Team, Business Combination Team, AFR IT and Innovation Subcommittee, and other department-specific technology, policies, and risk management/quality control Coordinate the business combination process for the AFR department, including due diligence support, implementation of necessary applications, and migration of data, as well as onboarding and training of the incoming department associates Manage internal department data, including securing data and providing documents for subpoena requests and monitoring data for risk management concerns Maintain relationships with peer firms and the global network to enhance and share best practices Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with a major in accounting or related field, or 3+ years of industry experience Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) Experience with audit software applications, electronic document management, workflow applications, and related technologies/tools Manager or above level responsibilities within a similar organization Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software Strong leadership and customer service skills Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team Ability to prioritize tasks and complete them within established timelines and budgets Ability to manage multiple projects and demands simultaneously Executive presence in communications with associates and firm leadership Innovative mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for efficiencies Public speaking and training skills, including communicating technical information to non-technical audiences Comprehensive understanding of department processes, audit methodologies, and how AFR applications support those processes Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting, with experience in assurance preferred Knowledge of web-based research, data analytics, workflow applications, and assurance engagement software (e.g., CCH Engagement, IDEA, Suralink) About Rehmann
