LSU Health New Orleans Division of Purchasing/Mail Services is seeking motivated applicants for the position of Administrative Coordinator 1 or 2. Core competencies

This position is part of a Career Progression Group. Vacancies may be filled at either Administrative Coordinator 1 or Administrative Coordinator 2 depending on the level of experience of the selected applicant(s). Refer to the Job Specifications on the LA Careers page for specific information on salary ranges, minimum qualifications, and job concepts for each level. Rate of pay is dependent upon the applicant’s qualifications. There is also an additional $1 Longevity Pay for hours worked only. Duties and responsibilities
Accurately sorts high volumes of USPS mail, parcels, accountable mail (registered and certified), inter-departmental and student mail. Sorts mail for 144 departments. Delivers sorted mail to university departments and offices and picks up mail and parcels. Operates postage machines (postage scales, automated meters, etc.) to process outgoing mail. Operates and maintains a mail van or light truck (fuels, conducts preventative maintenance inspections, washes, takes vehicle for service, maintains mileage logs). Operates forklift, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and flat trucks. Inspects incoming stock or equipment and compares to specifications on invoices, requisitions, or purchase orders. Experience not listed will not be considered when determining the offering rate.
