Be a key support for students as they grow, learn, and overcome challenges. As a

School Social Worker , you'll provide direct social work services to students and families, helping them navigate social, emotional, and academic barriers. You'll work closely with teachers, caregivers, and community partners to implement treatment plans, support trauma-informed care, and create meaningful, lasting impact. In this role, you will: Provide individual, group, and family social work services for assigned students. Conduct student intakes, assess needs, and develop trauma-informed treatment plans. Collaborate with teachers, staff, and caregivers to implement IEP goals, including FBA/BIP, social/emotional goals, and transition plans. Deliver crisis intervention and support students during psychiatric or behavioral emergencies. Participate in ongoing trainings to maintain TCI certification and trauma-informed skills. Requirements

Required: Master's degree in Social Work with LSW or LCSW obtained within 6 months of hire. Type 73 endorsement unless holding an LCSW license. Valid Illinois Driver's License with no suspensions in the last 3 years. Ability to pass TCI certification and safely perform verbal and physical interventions. No history of child abuse or neglect. Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills. Preferred: Experience working with youth exposed to trauma or experiencing behavioral challenges. Knowledge of child and adolescent development and positive youth development/strength-based approaches. Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment. Additional Information

This full-time, on-site position is located at our Therapeutic Day School at 4833 N Francisco Ave, Monday to Friday, typical school hours with flexibility to adjust schedule for program needs, including student transportation and home visits. Exposure to students with complex behavioral, mental health, and social-emotional needs. Participation in required trainings, including trauma-informed care and TCI certification.
