Are you ready to lead with purpose and drive real results? We're seeking passionate, results-driven Lead Print Mechanics to join our new paper dinnerware manufacturing Center of Excellence. With a relentless focus on manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement, you'll play a key role in keeping our operations running at peak performance! Leola, PA, will soon be home to Dart’s new paper plate manufacturing Center of Excellence! This industry-leading facility will be an efficient manufacturing powerhouse, with the capacity to meet the growing demand for paper-based food and beverage packaging. As our Lead Print Mechanic, you will execute complex maintenance tasks across production and facilities equipment to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability. Support shift operations by coordinating resources, training team members, and driving continuous improvement as we power up Leola Paper. Responsibilities
Apply advanced expertise to perform a wide variety of maintenance responsibilities for production and/or facilities machines and equipment. Spend 85% of time on the floor supporting operations and personnel. Lead troubleshooting, predictive maintenance, and continuous improvement efforts. Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency through proactive maintenance leadership. Achievement of KPIs in safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service Timely and accurate maintenance documentation and reporting Reduction in downtime and equipment-related issues Effective root cause analysis and resolution of equipment failures Qualifications and Experience
Collaboration across departments and shifts Communication with technical and non-technical teams Continuous Improvement through lean initiatives Decision Making under pressure and uncertainty Ongoing Learning and technical adaptability Personal Accountability and ownership mindset Trust & Reliability in leadership and execution High School Diploma or GED At least two (2) years of related maintenance experience in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with paper processing Advanced mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Expert knowledge in multiple skilled trades (machining, electrical, welding, HVAC, PLC, CNC) Experience with SAP and plant production software Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Root cause analysis and problem-solving Strong documentation, organizational, and training abilities Experience operating PITs, hoists, and cranes; PIT certification Demonstrated leadership skills Mathematical abilities including basic arithmetic and unit conversions Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, temperature and pressure gauges Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Experience operating test equipment and/or software Clear English communication for safety and quality training May be required to work additional hours including weekends, holidays, and/overtime Preferred Experience and Skills
Prior training experience Previous experience in a Lead role Work Schedule
Initial schedule will be Monday–Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM. Will transition to 24/7 operations later this year; flexibility required. Overview
