This position reports to the CEO of the Alumni Association and the Associate Vice-President of University Engagement. This professional collaborates with the Alumni Association, academic colleges, as well as faculty, staff, and administration to develop and implement an integrated engagement strategy.Expected position duties and functions include:* Executive Support of University Engagement staff* Develop and Maintain meaningful relationships with alumni and stakeholders* Oversight of special projects and strategic initiatives* Lead and manage internal teams working on strategic initiatives, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and goals are met.* Support of Alumni Database* Coordination of Events and Meetings* Management of Travel Logistics* Leadership and support of Alumni Association Board of Directors* Operational oversight of the alumni and engagement activities* Data Analysis and Reporting including tracking of engagement metrics, reporting and analysis of engagement, and trend analysis.* Assisting in the hiring, onboarding, and training of personnel* Supervision of Student Engagement Staff* Collaboration with University Departments* Collaboration with Communication teams to develop content (magazine, newsletters, event invitations, personalized outreach)* Operational oversight of University Engagement facilities (Ropp Center, Argent Pavillion)Essential qualifications and skills required are a Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred), excellent customer service skills, ability to work with all types of people and to assume facilitator and leadership roles, ability to multi-task and prioritize activities, ability to communicate professionally, with clarity and brevity (both orally and in writing), flexibility and the ability to complete assigned projects, team player with positive outlook on making an impact on others’ lives, and competent computer/technical skills. Previous event planning, communication, and/or volunteer management experience preferred. Louisiana Tech University Alumni preferred.
