Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Group Sales Manager to lead and manage our group sales efforts to drive revenue and achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand and maximize group sales opportunities.

Manage a team of sales professionals, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure their success.

Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects such as corporate accounts, travel agents, and event planners.

Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.

Collaborate with Marketing and Revenue teams to develop targeted marketing campaigns and promotions.

Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to drive sales growth.

Prepare and present sales reports to senior management, highlighting sales achievements, challenges, and recommendations.

Stay current on competitor activities to differentiate our group sales offerings.

Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

Proven experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry, meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with clients and colleagues.

Ability to analyze sales data and market trends for identifying growth opportunities.

Knowledge of CRM software and sales forecasting tools.

Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize multiple tasks.

Willingness to travel as needed.
