Overview
Payroll Administrator (Contract – Remote)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator for a contract assignment through the end of the year. This role is fully remote and requires strong experience with ADP Workforce Now and Workday. While this person will not process payroll directly, they will play a critical role in payroll operations by supporting reporting, auditing, and data management.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate payroll records in ADP Workforce Now and Workday
Run and distribute payroll and compliance reports as needed
Audit employee data to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies
Assist with payroll-related inquiries from employees and managers
Partner with HR and Finance teams on reconciliations and special projects
Support year-end close activities, including audits, reporting, and compliance requirements
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Qualifications
3+ years of payroll or HRIS experience, preferably in a multi-state environment
Strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and Workday (required)
Skilled in reporting, data analysis, and auditing for accuracy
High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
Contract Details
Assignment through December 31, 2025 (potential for extension)
Fully remote, standard business hours
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
