The Waterbury Public Schools are hiring Specialists for various Career Pathways, including Construction, Manufacturing, Health Sciences, Business, Finance, Marketing, Education, and Information Technology & Engineering. Responsibilities
Planning and delivering curricula related to specific career pathways. Developing classroom materials, setting student objectives, and assessing student progress. Supporting students in the use and care of equipment to ensure safety. Utilizing instructional methods such as lectures, discussions, and demonstrations. Preparing equipment and materials for classroom instruction. Incorporating technology and audiovisual aids to enhance learning. Performing related duties as required. Minimum Qualifications
Associate or bachelor's degree in manufacturing, health, technology, engineering, or trades, or a credential as defined by state statutes. At least two years of work experience in relevant fields. Possession of necessary licenses or certifications, including a valid motor vehicle license if required. Physical and Mental Requirements
Applicants must have adequate physical strength, stamina, agility, and sensory acuity to perform job duties effectively. Additional Information
