Responsibilities
Provide intake, assessment, and individual employment plans; deliver group and individual job readiness orientations; identify suitable employment opportunities and guide clients through the hiring process; schedule interviews; assist with applications and interviews; support clients after placement for 30/60/90 days; provide translation services and transportation assistance as needed.
Track clients placed in jobs in RCA and RSS programs using RMS, Client Track, and internal spreadsheets; verify enrollments, referrals, and placements; maintain complete and accurate client files in compliance with funding requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned; attend meetings with service providers, participate in events, and assist with special projects as needed.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
One year experience in an administrative setting or within refugee populations
Valid Texas Driver’s License
Skills and Attributes
Demonstrated organizational and planning skills; attention to detail; ability to multi-task
Ability to understand program policies and make informed decisions
Demonstrated success in dealing with a variety of people
Understanding of and sensitivity to other cultures
Ability to handle confidential client information; time and resource management; team player
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access)
Knowledge of case notes processing, typing skills, data entry, reporting, and file maintenance
