Job Overview

Oliver Wyman is seeking a Recruiting Lead to oversee recruiting for Oliver Wyman Actuarial. This role will manage all lateral and Partner hiring across the group and be a key member of the broader Oliver Wyman Experienced Hire Recruiting function in the region. This is a hybrid role requiring a presence in the office 3 days per week in Chicago or NY. There is no option to be fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

Manage lateral and Partner hiring for OW Actuarial Life, Health and Property & Casualty practices in the Americas

Talent identification using direct applications, referrals, direct sourcing, job postings and search firms

Define essential skill sets and screening criteria to maintain high standards and consistency

Manage external search firm relationships across OW Actuarial

Foster stakeholder relations to align recruitment efforts

Oversee the candidate experience and uphold employee branding standards

Partner with Human Capital to facilitate onboarding and integration of new hires

Conduct market analyses and provide strategic recommendations to improve recruitment processes

Experience Required

8+ years of relevant recruiting experience in a fast-paced, client services environment

Actuarial and/or Insurance industry experience preferred

Bachelor’s Degree

Executive search experience preferred but not required

Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to tailor messaging

Comfort with data tools (Excel, PowerPoint)

Compensation and Benefits

The applicable base salary range for this role is $126,000 to $168,000. The base pay offered will be determined by experience, skills, location, certifications, education, and applicable minimum wage requirements. This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives in addition to base salary. We offer a competitive total rewards package including health and welfare benefits, tuition assistance, 401(k) and other retirement programs, and employee assistance programs.
