The Network Engineer will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing enterprise-grade network solutions to support global retail and corporate environments, ensuring reliable and secure connectivity across on-premises and cloud platforms. The role focuses heavily on Cisco Meraki, SD-WAN, and Palo Alto technologies, with additional emphasis on scalability, performance optimization, and network security. The engineer will act as a technical lead, guiding design best practices and mentoring junior staff. Key Responsibilities
Architect and design enterprise network solutions for global operations and cloud connectivity. Lead the deployment and optimization of Cisco Meraki (wireless and switching). Design, implement, and manage Cisco SD-WAN solutions for high availability and performance. Secure network infrastructure using Palo Alto firewalls and Prisma Cloud. Build scalable routing/switching architectures (BGP, OSPF, OMP). Partner with cross-functional teams to align network design with application and business needs. Perform network assessments, capacity planning, and performance tuning. Develop and maintain detailed network documentation (topology, configurations, design standards). Evaluate emerging networking technologies and recommend enhancements. Act as technical lead and mentor junior engineers on projects. Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in network engineering, focused on architecture and design in enterprise or retail environments. Expert-level knowledge of Cisco Meraki and SD-WAN. Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama, and security policy management. Strong grasp of routing/switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, OMP). Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS) and hybrid environments. Proficient with network monitoring tools such as Meraki Dashboard, SolarWinds, and Cisco v Manage. Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation abilities. Preferred Certifications:
