Direct ministry with local high school and middle school students by fostering the following five essentials: Loving Relationships Faithful Bible Teaching Collaborative Community Strategy Adults Who Empower Key Objectives Deliberately engage with many Christians to intercede on behalf of the ministry site-prayer must strategically permeate all values, areas, and actions of your daily ministry. Consistently pursue high schoolers and middle schoolers, engage them in life-long relationships with Jesus using the following seven Relational Ministry Actions which are Campus Life’s Specialized skill set to move loving relationships forward: Appointments Building Times Contacting Clubs Small Groups Summer Youth Camps Accurately handle Biblical truth, regularly coaching high schoolers and middle schoolers to apply it in their lives. Focus on competent preparation and relevant presentation Intentionally work together with local churches, agencies, and other partners to provide sustainable youth and family ministry Strategically develop leaders to reach young people from every people group. Campus Life staff build and lead teams of Christian adults (and students) who are committed to investing in the relational ministry process with lost teens. Job Functions and Duties

Camp: Residential and Wilderness Camping Ministry South Central Minnesota Youth for Christ owns and operates Prairie River Camp— www.prairierivercamp.org . An important part of this job is to be an active participant in planning and executing three weeks of summer camps. Contact with supervisor-weekly Attend weekly South Central Minnesota Youth for Christ ministry staff meeting Evaluation yearly Funding Responsibilities

Participate in community fundraising events (only when appropriate) Maintain positive budget account and write a periodic support letter Training

Attend training events if possible All YFC employees are expected to regularly and actively participate in faithful activities that advance the stewardship functions of YFC/USA. These activities will include—but are not limited to— extending invitations to fund raising events, recruiting personal circle of influence/YFC donor contacts, sending letters, handwritten notes, personal calls, and personally ministering to donor contacts. Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge and demonstrated skills in each of Youth for Christ’s Cultural Attributes (Christ-Centered, Kingdom Inspired Diversity, Joyful Camaraderie, Relentless Trust, Enduring Humility and Courageous Faithfulness) Administrative abilities High level of spiritual and emotional maturity Powerful passion for the evangelism and discipleship of youth Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills Ability to manage and minister to people Ability to work in the “YFC culture” Ability to lead and motivate people Experience with computer hardware and general office equipment Motivated “self-starter” Ability to prioritize based on integrity and values over outcomes Teachable and can take input from supervisors and peers Ability to learn mission and relationship based fundraising techniques Recruit and oversee / manage building care Education & Experience:
