Senior Accountant

to join our team! If you have a strong background in finance and accounting, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and excel at working independently while building strong internal and external relationships — apply today! Key Responsibilities Execute day-to-day accounting tasks, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Review, reconcile, and approve time and expense submissions. Ensure timely and accurate billing in line with project agreements. Manage special client requests (custom invoicing, reconciliations, reporting, and policy compliance) to support prompt payments. Oversee collections activity, recommend write-offs and allowances for doubtful accounts. Maintain all bank accounts and prepare monthly reconciliations and journal entries. Lead month-end close processes and prepare management reports Prepare and submit sales and excise tax returns; coordinate quarterly and annual tax filings and payments. Manage corporate credit card activity for executives. Maintain support documentation for balance sheet accounts and ensure proper client/vendor onboarding (ACH, contracts, W-9). Process AP payments, including checks, ACH, and wires. Respond to special reporting requests from senior management and advise on non-routine transactions. Support year-end activities, including 1099 preparation and coordination with external auditors and group finance. General Responsibilities Manage multiple projects independently and help improve back-office processes and workflows. Assist and provide backup support to other accounting team members as needed. Maintain flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving business needs. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior or advanced staff accounting role. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in accounting software (Sage Intacct preferred). Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy; able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
