First International Bank and Trust is seeking a Commercial Loan Officer with strong Commercial & Industrial (C&I) lending experience to join our team in Edina, MN. This is an in-office position. Key Responsibilities: Develop and grow commercial lending relationships through strategic networking and market outreach. Evaluate client financial needs and recommend tailored lending solutions. Analyze title reports and surveys to identify potential risks. Negotiate loan terms that align with both client goals and bank interests. Ensure clients fully understand loan conditions and terms. Manage delinquent accounts and determine appropriate actions. Deliver exceptional customer service while creating value for both the client and FIBT. Collaborate with internal teams to optimize loan processing and customer experience. Stay current on market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes. Maintain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; 3+ years experience in commercial lending or related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Proven track record in business development and loan origination. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess financial statements and market conditions. Deep understanding of the Twin Cities market. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
