Chartered Accountant (SA) – Stellenbosch

Shift Pursuit is working with an Accounting and Auditing firm based in Stellenbosch, and we are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) to join their team. In this role, you will be involved in both accounting and audit work, including preparing audit plans, compiling reports, and managing key financial documents. The firm is looking for someone who is reliable, confident, and a strong communicator, someone who can lead by example and uphold the firm’s professional values. You will play a key role in ensuring that all work is completed accurately and to a high standard while supporting and guiding the wider team. Requirements: Completed SAICA articles Qualified CA(SA) Strong technical knowledge and skills. In-depth knowledge of IFRS guideline Excellent problem-solving skills. Effective time management skills. Fluent in Afrikaans and English Key Performance Areas: Planning, executing, and reviewing audit and accounting assignments to ensure accurate and timely delivery of client work. Preparing and implementing audit strategies in line with client needs and firm standards. Working closely with managers to provide solutions related to accounting, auditing, tax, and advisory matters. Performing operational and financial audits and assisting with accounting reviews and reconciliations. Identifying business process risks and documenting findings with recommendations for improvement. Preparing financial reports and audit findings for review and presentation to senior management. Contributing to the achievement of team and individual performance goals. Overseeing budgets and financial management for client projects.
