Senior Accountant - Tax & Business Management
Location: Encino, CA Overview
Senior Accountant at a firm serving clients in the entertainment industry and other high net worth individuals and businesses. The role focuses on tax preparation, business bookkeeping, tax planning and advisory support, and coordination with the bookkeeping department to review general ledger details and complex journal entries. Responsibilities
5 years+ tax preparation for high net worth individuals, partnerships, corporations, S-corporations, trusts and foundations (review is a plus) Strong written and oral communication skills to help run client relationships Ability to reconcile tax documents Year-end tax and financial planning and corporate year-end close-outs Review quarterly and annual general ledgers and assist bookkeepers with recording complex journal entries Ability to perform tax research Experience dealing with IRS, FTB and local taxing authorities on client matters Preparing and reviewing multiple year cash flow projections and asset allocation schedules Prepare personal and corporate financial statements Business management experience a plus Musts
CPA license or on track to receive it, with at least 1 of the exams passed Strong in Excel Quick learner Highly motivated Pluses
