Requisition Title and Job Number: STA00N2. Location: Kent TN12 0DG. CQC rating: Good. 37.5 hours - days Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. Staplehurst Manor is a care home that welcomes residents in need of nursing or residential care, including those living with Parkinson’s. Nurses are on duty at all times for residents requiring nursing care and regular medical attention. The home is located between the High Wield and the Kent Downs, with access to amenities in Staplehurst village (a mile away). The house features high ceilings, natural light, arched windows, parquet floors, stained glass, and a sweeping staircase. There are lounges, a salon, dining room, and access to large grounds, a courtyard garden with a fishpond, a wildlife pond, and woodland walks. The activity coordinator ensures there are activities for all residents, including those less mobile. Meals are prepared and served in the dining room or in residents’ rooms. We make health happen. Using bespoke software to raise invoices, process income including cash allocation, complete banking and take appropriate action in relation to debt management. Liaising with Local and Health Authorities to ensure appropriate information and payment is received. Ensuring correct and complete documentation including Terms and Conditions are provided and recorded for all admissions. Safeguarding monies on behalf of residents and funds raised by the home, recording and reconciling transactions to bank statements. Ensuring effective administration of purchasing and supplier payments, management of petty cash transactions and replenishment. Processing of employee related information and payroll to ensure staff information and payments are accurate and timely. Providing clerical support to the Home Manager, including letter writing, memos and local management reporting. Maintaining a well-ordered filing system, stationary replenishment and personnel file management. Key Skills / Qualifications
You’ve worked as a Financial Administrator before with experience in providing excellent customer service and you’ll have a friendly manner both face to face and over the phone. You’re approachable, organised, have an eye for detail and the ability to build strong relationships with residents, their families and internal/external teams. You’re dedicated, efficient and can handle a varied workload, and importantly, your caring attitude underpins everything you do — to make a real difference to people’s lives. Benefits
