Overview 1st Shift: M – F 8am – 4:30pm Pay Rate: ***/hr (based on experience)

*** Engines and Power Systems has an opening within the Military Fixed Wing team. In this role, you will work with experienced engineers to execute Requirements Based Engineering (RBE) and Engine Systems development for military gas turbine engines. You will execute process assurance to our systems plans, ensure adherence to requirements style guides, and maintain the DOORS NG spec structures in compliance with our plans. You will execute validation activities and support subject matter experts in developing the product requirements specifications. You will support major System reviews, including the System Requirements Review (SRR).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support requirements development and execution

Support development and execution of system plans such as the System Development Plan and Requirements Management Verification and Validation Plan (RMVVP)

Support engine system architecture development, design, and execution

Support the Systems Project team in the following areas for the assigned module or system

Support the program for the assigned module or system

Demonstrate leadership capability with a diverse, cross functional team

Escalate effectively with leadership

Strong commitment to customer satisfaction

Bias toward creative thinking and innovation in product design and approach to everyday work

Working knowledge of and commitment to IPDS processes

Promote strong team working relationships

Identify gaps and risks on behalf of the team

Support schedules and budgeted time for the assigned work scope

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Due to US export control laws, must be a US Citizen, permanent resident, or have protected status

5 or more years Systems or Aerospace experience

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

WE VALUE

DOORS NG experience

MBSE and SysML experience. Prior CAMEO experience.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and manage workload.

Prior systems engineering experience either through direct industry experience or education/training.

Ability to execute complex projects in an organized and efficient way

Capability to facilitate interpersonal relationships and resolve conflicts tactfully and effectively.

Ability to escalate effectively with leadership and cross-functionally across the organization

Focus on results and effective execution of projects

Excellent oral and written communications.

Experience using DOORS, CAMEO, SysML, and/or other RBE/MBE programs

Aerospace or Systems Engineering Degree

Work Arrangement Full-time, on-site attendance required for the first 6 months. Post 6 months, up to 2 days remote and 3 days on-site.
