Remote/Hybrid (USA-based) Our client, a prominent player in the technology sector, are hiring a ServiceNow Developer to join the team on a minimum 6 month contract. With a focus on IT Asset Management (ITAM) and/or IT Operations Management (ITOM), the successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing ServiceNow solutions to meet business objectives. Responsibilities
Develop and configure ServiceNow applications with a focus on ITAM (e.g. SAM Pro, HAM) and/or ITOM (e.g. Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management). Customize workflows, scripts, business rules, UI policies and integrations to meet client needs. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional ServiceNow solutions. Maintain and optimize the CMDB, ensuring accurate asset and service relationships. Implement system integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and troubleshoot technical issues. Stay current with ServiceNow releases, best practices and new features to recommend innovative solutions. Provide ongoing support for the ServiceNow platform, including performance optimization and defect resolution. Skillset
3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer with expertise in ITAM or ITOM modules. Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML/CSS and API integrations. Hands-on experience with ServiceNow development tools (e.g. Business Rules, Client Scripts). Strong understanding of ITIL processes and frameworks (certification preferred).
