NOC Infrastructure Architect (TAX FREE)

Our client is leading efforts to develop satellite and space industries and is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Architect to design and implement their Network Operations Centers (NOCs) for Inflight Connectivity (IFC). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in satellite communications for aero mobility applications and a deep understanding of the requirements and challenges associated with building robust, scalable, and secure NOC and SOC infrastructures.
Key Accountabilities:
Design and implement the architecture for NOC and in relation to the Operational Support System (OSS) and Business Support Systems (BSS) to support satellite communications operations for IFC Develop the Make or Buy Policies in relation to the NOC core bricks to secure operational readiness on time for launch customers. Develop detailed architecture plans, including network design, hardware and software requirements, and integration strategies. Ensure the NOC meets high standards of availability, reliability, and cybersecurity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including network engineers, security analysts, and IT professionals to align infrastructure architecture with operational requirements. Implement best practices for infrastructure management, monitoring, and incident response. Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of NOC infrastructure components. Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure design, configurations, and procedures. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance NOC capabilities. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies. Develop the relevant job descriptions (NOC Manager, Program Managers, Operations Team etc.) and secure staffing for 24/7 operations. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members involved in NOC operations. Qualifications, Experience & Competencies:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Qualifications: Proven experience in designing and implementing NOC infrastructures. Strong knowledge of network architecture, protocols, and technologies. Expertise in security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM platforms. Familiarity with satellite communication systems and related technologies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams. Effective communication and documentation skills. Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CISSP, CCNA or equivalent are a plus. Candidate must have proven background in Program Leadership and architectural related work. NSG will operate several NOCs and the candidate will be expected to support both developments and provide means for optimization of the setup with commonality as far as possible. Experience: 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, network operations, or a related field, preferably within the satellite communications industry for mobility applications.
