PaxeraHealth is hiring a Controller to join our Finance team. This hybrid position involves multiple functions within the department. Key Responsibilities

Lead all accounting operations: AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger. Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory requirements. Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Oversee external audits and liaise with auditors. Partner with leadership to provide actionable financial insights. Drive process improvements to streamline reporting and controls. Support financial aspects of contracts, grants, and vendor agreements. Supervise and mentor accounting staff. Conduct financial analysis to guide strategic projects.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required). CPA required. 7–10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 years in a Controller or leadership role. Industry background in medical imaging, healthcare, or SaaS/technology strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and compliance. Proficiency in QuickBooks (or similar accounting software). Experience with multi-currency consolidations. Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to partner across teams. Must live locally and be able to reliably commute to our Newton, MA office on a hybrid basis.
