Senior Java Developer position in Austin, TX. We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs, with additional experience in front-end frameworks, databases, and cloud platforms for full stack roles. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and enhance applications using Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot. Build and consume RESTful APIs / Microservices. Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) for data modeling and query optimization. Collaborate with UI developers on frontend frameworks (Angular/React) for full stack projects. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards. Perform unit testing (JUnit, TestNG, Mockito) and participate in code reviews. Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely fixes. Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating with business analysts, architects, and QA engineers. Participate in CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and version control using Git. Required Skills
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA. Proficiency in RESTful APIs and Microservices. Solid knowledge of SQL (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra). Experience with Maven/Gradle, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD tools. Good understanding of Agile methodologies. Nice-to-Have Skills
Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP. Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments. Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ). Familiarity with security frameworks (Spring Security, OAuth2, JWT). Application
