Analyst
to join our team of real estate professionals. The successful candidate will be actively involved in the analysis, execution, and management of new and existing business. This individual will play a central role in every financial aspect of Hillwood’s real estate investment activity, primarily focused on the industrial real estate sector in North America. Responsibilities
Preparation of sophisticated financial models and underwriting of real estate development, leasing, joint ventures, and capital structures Analysis of complex partnership structures Analysis of potential tenant financials Underwrite potential leases for approval Preparation of internal and external investment memoranda related to new and existing business Legal review and strategy in connection with new and existing business Communication with senior management regarding ongoing project status, variance reporting, and performance metrics Required Skills/Abilities
Professional maturity and ability to lead others High aptitude for financial analysis, especially modeling Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills Organized, detail oriented, and thorough Strong work ethic and ability to be flexible and multi-task High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Argus competency, preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate or Engineering; other business and math focused fields will be considered Undergraduate degree from a highly ranked school, with a strong academic track record Real estate finance / underwriting experience or prior relevant internship experience required Experience with legal documents associated with real estate transactions, a plus Familiarity with coding languages (e.g., C++, Python, etc.) EEO Statement
