Responsibilities
Assess the existing cloud infrastructure and recommend improvements to align with federal government standards and best practices
Design, develop, and implement cloud-based solutions
Develop and maintain cloud architecture documentation, including diagrams, operation procedures, and security guidelines
Collaborate with the security operations team to ensure compliance with federal government security requirements
Conduct regular cloud infrastructure audits to identify and address potential security risks and vulnerabilities
Optimize cloud service utilization to minimize costs and maximize efficiency
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud-based services
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to personnel as needed
Coordinate with other federa; agencies, vendors, and partners to ensure seamless integration of cloud services and technologies
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or administration
Knowledge in a variety of cloud platforms and technologies, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Strong understanding of federal government security requirements, including FISMA and FedRAMP
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
Current active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph required
