Dewberry is seeking a

Project Manager

for our Disaster Recovery Services Unit in Panama City, FL. The ideal candidate will supervise staff, handle document production, monitor budgets and schedules, market new projects, prepare proposals, and interface regularly with clients. The Project Manager will work directly with our management team and support FEMA Individual Assistance, Hazard Mitigation, Housing Inspection and state/local contracts. This position requires an extensive engineering and construction management background, including the ability to travel to disaster sites, manage and train field personnel, and provide onsite technical solutions. The Project Manager makes critical decisions within their areas of responsibilities and exercises authority as delegated by the Business Unit Manager. Supervise staff and manage project teams. Oversee document production and ensure quality control. Monitor budgets and schedules to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery. Market new projects and coordinate the preparation of proposals. Interface regularly with clients and support FEMA programs, Hazard Mitigation, Housing Inspection, and state/local contracts. Required Skills & Required Experience

Engineering degree preferred. 10+ years of experience with a background in utilities, disaster response, asset management and leadership/management. Proven track record in executing and managing disaster recovery grant programs and/or providing related consulting services. Knowledge of various federal agency disaster recovery programs (e.g., FEMA, HUD, USACE) and programmatic rules and regulations governing their implementation. Preference will be given to candidates with prior FEMA response and recovery experience, including preparing preliminary damage assessments, cost estimates, and housing inspection activities. Ability to serve as technical lead and liaison on federal, state and local projects. Experience managing and training diverse teams. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Travel is required for the position. Driving is a requirement; a clean driving record is required. Must be a US citizen. Don’t meet every single requirement?
