Safety Health Officers

to join a long-term program on-site in Falls Church, VA.

The current scope of work is to implement and manage site-specific Safety & Health Program in compliance with EM 385-1-1 standards. You will serve as a POC for all safety related matters on the program and collaborate with the program Safety team. Responsibilities: · Develop, implement, and maintain Accident Prevention Plan and Activity Hazard Analyses · Conduct daily Safety inspections and maintain a log of findings and corrective actions · Lead daily safety briefings and toolbox talks · Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure adherence to safety standards · Provide technical support to activities associated with equipment and material procurement and subcontracting including review of vendor submittals · Ensure compliance with all safety protocols with activities such as medium voltage electrical work, mechanical installations, structural modifications, & power generation Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in EHS, Safety, Construction, or relevant job field · 5+ years of experience with monitoring site safety of medium voltage, mechanical systems, and structural work · EM 385 Safety Certification · DOD or Federal Construction Experience · Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening Compensation: · Salary Range: 100k-130k · Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays Keywords:
