Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Surgery, Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery, is seeking a candidate for a Faculty Appointment as a Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Surgeon. This position is being recruited at both the Associate Professor and the Assistant Professor levels. The Trauma service admits over 3,400 traumas per year with 20% penetrating trauma. Our team also handles all Emergency General Surgery and exclusively runs our Surgical ICU. We have a cutting edge surgical critical care program and AAST approved Acute Care Surgery fellowship with a current group of 18 Trauma/Acute Care Surgeons. The clinical schedule provides flexibility and ensures time for academic pursuits. The Division provides a robust research infrastructure that supports clinical faculty. Opportunity

Full-time faculty position within the MCW Division of Trauma/Acute Care Surgery Participate in the clinical education of fellows, residents, medical students, and other trainees. Advance the academic, research and educational missions of the institution. Candidates must be Board Certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. Candidates must be eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin. Candidates must have experience in academic medicine. Compensation & Benefits

Salary, research support, and benefits will be commensurate with rank and experience, and the candidate will hold appropriate academic rank in the Medical College of Wisconsin School of Medicine.
