Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering 5+ years of experience working as MS SQL DBA and technical support experience. Having Azure domain experiences is a big asset. Required Skills/Certifications
Leadership - handle technically challenging and politically sensitive customer situations Strong communications skills - Excellent spoken and written English communication skills Effective, polished interaction with customer to gather information quickly; explain customer responsibilities in resolving issue; communicate next steps and status; and inspire confidence The successful Support Engineer has the drive and intellectual horsepower to resolve difficult customer issues; directly supports customers through telephone, email, and chat services as applicable Cross-team collaboration SQL DB /Technical Skills Experience with SQL Server or an equivalent database product - Must have. Experience in troubleshooting and problem solving role - Must have. Experience with Relational Database management systems and concepts High Availability: Experience/Knowledge of Windows Server Cluster Services in On-Premise environments Experience in SQL Server Performance Experience in Database and Server Administration Should able to deploy and Troubleshoot SQL Server Failover Cluster Instances etc. Experience/Knowledge of Windows Server Cluster Services in Azure cloud Having Azure domain experiences is a big asset. Experience in a customer facing or customer support role
