**Your Role**As a Gensler Interior Designer, you are passionate about your craft and combine creativity and technical knowledge with business skills and understanding to produce functionally beautiful spaces for clients. You will collaborate with talented colleagues to enhance Gensler’s culture for design excellence, elevate the quality of design, and achieve recognition for our clients and the firm. You are a mix of strategic and creative, with the ability to create great form while embracing sound business strategy. Use your unique design perspective to lead design teams, develop next-generation talent, bring new approaches to the design process, and help our clients redesign what’s possible.**What You Will Do*** Lead interior design assignments that include detailed programming, conceptual design, space planning, schematic design, and design development* Provide strategically minded design leadership and support for organization, production and execution of design projects* Participate in design iterations with team members in generating, 3D modeling, utilizing Revit, Sketchup, Enscape and/or other modeling or rendering software in conjunction with Adobe Creative Suite* Lead and participate in generating interior architectural, finish and reflected ceiling plans, elevations and details along with corresponding specifications and schedules* Work with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators to realize design and budgetary goals of the client* Guide and mentor junior designers, assisting in leading multiple projects at a high level, working in a collaborative manner with other design and technical staff* Help to nurture and sustain client relations with a large tech client* Lead and contribute to office activities, help communicate key firm initiatives and learning programs* Work closely with your team and across the office and firm, to promote and model an inter-disciplinary design approach that enhances Gensler’s culture of design quality and excellence**Your Qualifications*** NCIDQ or RID Certification required* Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or related field from an accredited program* 8+ years of interior design experience* Expert working knowledge of Revit, 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software* Detailed understanding of FF&E design and deliverables (furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications)* Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development* Ability to communicate and present design concepts and rationales* Ability to iterate to address client requests, budget considerations, existing or new architectural opportunities or constraints or other impacts on design concept* Well-rounded, strategic thinker with an integrated approach to design, management, and technical project resolution who can help shape a vision for the future* LEED Accreditation a plus**TO BE CONSIDERED, PLEASE SUBMIT A CURRENT PORTFOLIO AND/OR WORK SAMPLES IN PDF FORMAT**This position is in-person.
