Under the leadership of the department director of Behavioral Health Services and the assistant director of Garden Pavilion, the social worker is responsible for completing psychosocial assessments and participating in ongoing treatment planning for patients on the acute psychiatric inpatient unit. The social worker is a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team responsible for planning and implementing a program of group and individual treatment modalities including discharge. Must demonstrate critical thinking, problem solving, decision-making ability and ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Experience
Experience in an acute care hospital or inpatient psychiatric unit and knowledge of community resources are preferred. Education
Master’s degree in social work required. Licensure/Certifications
Current license to practice in the State of California LCSW, MSW or actively obtaining hours towards LCSW preferred. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA). Compensation
Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) are provided a pay range of $49.77 to $66.56 Pay Range (based on years of applicable experience): $47.40 to $63.39 Assigned Work Hours
varied shifts Monday to Friday Position Type

The hours employees work determine when a shift differential is paid. Hourly Evening Shift Differential: $3.39 Hourly Night Shift Differential: $5.09
