The Emergency Department Coder is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting clinical documentation in the medical record, applying appropriate ICD-10 and CPT codes conventions and Medicare Prospective Payment System requirements. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. The value you\'ll bring to the team

Reviews, analyzes, and interprets clinical documentation in the emergency room medical record. Applies appropriate code conventions and payment system requirements. Ensures accurate coding to optimize reimbursement and compliance. Collaborates with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and coding issues. Qualifications
