Physical Therapist Pay Rate : $48.00 - $57.00 per hour Responsibilities
Under the leadership of the Director of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals referred to the medical group. Collaborate with referring providers to assess patient needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy to promote optimal outcomes. Maintain clinical excellence and community engagement through outreach and partnerships with local healthcare providers. Evaluate referrals and patient records, conduct assessments, and document progress in accordance with clinical best practices. Administer appropriate treatments, supervise support staff including Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), and ensure timely and accurate documentation and billing. Contribute to the development of the rehabilitation program, stay current with professional education, and foster strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and external providers. Uphold safety standards, maintain confidentiality, and reflect the organization’s values in all professional interactions. Experience
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic clinic. Computer literate with prior experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems; familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite is preferred. Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong telephone communication skills. Working knowledge of medical terminology, efficient filing systems, and standard office equipment. Ability to manage shifting priorities, handle emergency situations, and meet deadlines; strong reading and writing skills for correspondence, treatment plans, and billing codes. Basic mathematical skills and ability to follow straightforward written or verbal instructions while applying sound reasoning in routine clinical and administrative situations. Education
Graduate of accredited physical therapy school. Licenses/Certifications
CA State Board of Physical Therapy licensure or has applied for CA state licensure. Current CPR/First Aid Certification. ATC, CSCS, SCS, and OCS or like certifications are preferred, but not required. Assigned Work Hours
4 shifts per work week, 10 hour shifts Position Type
