Medical Director
with a
$50,000 annual stipend . This role offers a
consistent schedule
(14 days per month), supportive leadership, and a manageable census — all within a growing community and a collegial environment. Compensation – Full-Time 1099 Contractor Model
Base Rate:
$210/hour
Quality & Productivity Bonus:
$10/hour
PM Call Coverage:
$42/hour
Call Back Compensation:
$210/hour
Medical Directorship:
$50,000/year (optional)
Professional Liability Insurance Provided
Scheduling Options:
7-on/7-off or 14-on/14-off

Thoracentesis
Paracentesis (diagnostic and therapeutic)
Central Line
Ultrasound-Guided IVs
Ventilator Management
Intubation preferred, not required
Lumbar Punctures
Ideal Candidate Profile
Board Certified / Board Eligible in
Internal Medicine
or
Family Medicine
(other specialties considered with inpatient experience)
Comfortable performing hospitalist procedures
Eligible for unrestricted
North Dakota medical license
and
DEA
Strong team player with leadership potential

25-bed critical access hospital with a
4-bed open ICU
Flexible
block scheduling
and
streamlined credentialing
Shift:
7:00 AM – 7:00 PM onsite with
unrestricted night call
(7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
APP support during peak hours
Average census: 8–15 patients per day | 2–3 daily admissions
EMR:
Meditech
Mix of mild to complex acute cases
Supportive administrative team and leadership
Scheduling Structure
Work the
