Job Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing electrical engineering services and running software platforms, analyzing data, and communicating results to support integrated engineering design services. Specific duties include: using AutoCAD, REVIT, ELUM, SKM, Comcheck and other software platforms for integrated engineering design solutions designing systems in accordance with the National Electric Code (NEC) and International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) designing electrical engineering projects from concept to completion designing electrical power systems, lighting and lighting controls, fire alarm systems and other similar electrical engineering projects for engineering services providing site surveys, investigation, construction oversight, and detailed reporting leading project discipline and serving as primary contact for the discipline with clients performing QA/QC of design work and preparing detailed design documents overseeing and providing guidance to junior electrical engineers Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related; 5 years of electrical design experience in the building design/construction industry; advanced knowledge in the design of power distribution, fire alarm, data and communication, lighting, and emergency power systems; familiarity with local codes, standards, and design guidelines; proficiency in Revit and MS Office.
