Altitude Aerospace USA seeks a Structure Stress Engineer in Tigard, Oregon, to participate in the definition of the engineering stress requirements with the client and in the evaluation of structural solutions; Prepare preliminary and conceptual sizing of aircraft structure; Perform Static Stress Analysis and Fatigue Analysis for the certification of airframe structures; Perform Finite Element Analysis and Internal Loads extraction on Nastran-Patran; Prepare, review and valid stress notes and other required stress deliverables as well as engineering drawing; Develop and validate stress methodologies; Telecommuting permitted 1 day a week. 10% domestic and potentially international travel required.
Participate in definition of engineering stress requirements with the client and evaluate structural solutions.

Perform Finite Element Analysis and internal loads extraction on Nastran-Patran.

Develop and validate stress methodologies.
Telecommuting permitted 1 day a week; 10% domestic and potentially international travel required.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
3 years of experience in job offered or related occupations.
3 years of experience with Static Stress Analysis and Fatigue Analysis; Nastran-Patran; hand calculations using Bruhn, Niu, Roark, ESDU, etc.; stress repairs; stress methodologies and certification.
Salary and Application
