ProSidian Seeks a Design Inspector | Design Engineer Inspector (NDI2) located: CONUS - Washington, DC to Provide Nuclear and Environmental Management Sector related Risk Management Solutions for Technical Assistance to Support Design Engineering Inspections Services on behalf of The U.S. NRC - HQ Acquisition Management Division (NRC) | The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). JOB OVERVIEW Provide services and support as a Nuclear Design Inspections (Design Engineer Inspector) in the Nuclear and Environmental Management Industry Sector focusing on Risk Management Solutions for clients such as U.S. NRC - HQ Acquisition Management Division (NRC) | The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Located In CONUS - Washington, DC and across the Mid-Atlantic region Region. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Design Engineer Inspectors are responsible for conducting design inspections of nuclear power reactor plants. (NDI2) Candidates: Design Engineer Inspectors should have at least 5 years experience in nuclear engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field. They need to understand design and safety standards. Skills / Abilities / Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications Education/Experience Requirements: A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, preferably in nuclear or mechanical engineering, along with relevant experience in design inspections. REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities. Proficiency in social media management and communication tools. Creativity and innovation in developing communication strategies. Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Skills Required Ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail. Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills. Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Technical expertise in engineering, design documentation review, compliance assessment, risk assessment, and strong communication skills.
