Nurse Manager – Med/Surg/Oncology – Portland, OR Opportunity Highlights: Lead a 20-bed inpatient Med/Surg Oncology unit Oversee ~50 direct reports including RNs and support staff Flexible work hours with strong leadership support Relocation assistance available Annual incentive bonus Responsibilities: Direct daily operations, staffing, and patient care delivery Implement best practice models and ensure compliance with regulatory standards Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes Oversee budget, resource allocation, and performance improvement initiatives Maintain clinical expertise and supervise care in a 24/7 environment Qualifications: RN license in Oregon (or ability to obtain by hire) BSN and at least 5 years in patient care delivery Minimum 5 years in business operations/clinical healthcare or related field Minimum 4 years in a leadership role BLS required; oncology experience preferred Compensation & Benefits: Salary range: $171,000 – $198,000/year Excellent medical, dental, vision, and mental health coverage Generous vacation, holiday, and sick leave Pension, 403(b) with match, and additional retirement plans Tuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities
