Overview
Our client, a dynamic leader in the construction industry, is seeking a Project Manager to support their client services and sales teams. This role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing various aspects of project execution. Key responsibilities include assisting project managers, supporting both internal teams and external clients, managing project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, tracking progress, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards. This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience through site visits, documentation management, and stakeholder engagement.
Location & Compensation Location:
On-site, full-time position, in Minneapolis, MN.
Salary:
$65-$80k/yr.

Roles & Responsibilities
Coordinates with subcontractors, vendors, and clients
Helps manage project schedules, budgets, and resources
Reviews plans, drawings, and contracts
Assists in resolving on-site issues and ensuring compliance
Prepares reports and documentation for the Project Manager
Transcribe surveys to final versions and verify final vendor quotes
Follow internal processes to ensure the booking package is up to the company standards
Authorize POs to vendors and subcontractors as necessary
Verify & track all material for all projects to ensure timely delivery
Facilitate engineering submittals between the company and others, which may include customers, general contractors, and consultants
Facilitate daily communication with mechanics and provide tickets as necessary, with accurate information
Understand and assist with company & project safety requirements/ guidelines
Familiarity with different third-party payment systems and bid platforms
Required Skills & Experience
1-3+ years of experience in Project Management within the construction industry.
1-3+ years of experience with construction software programs for Project Management (e.g., Procore).
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Project, and Excel
1-2+ years of experience managing support projects around service, repair, or construction industries
Proven experience reading and interpreting Construction and Engineering documents and drawings.
A proven strong problem solver, forward-thinking, and positive self-starter.
