Netgroup Engineering is seeking a
Sr. Product Engineer
to join our team supporting Mack Trucks (VolvoGroup) at their Roanoke Valley Operations facility. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the successful development and launch of innovative new products. What You'll Do: Lead the design and development of new and existing products, components, and assemblies for Mack Trucks. Collaborate closely with the Roanoke Valley Operations facility to ensure seamless product transitions and address any design-related challenges. Establish and oversee mock-ups, pilots, and test assemblies. Coordinate product and process changes between manufacturing facilities. Apply engineering principles to create products that meet customer specifications while optimizing for manufacturing cost and efficiency. Conduct mathematical modeling to assess the feasibility of design concepts. Support the design, testing, and prototyping of new products. Contribute to the development of efficient manufacturing processes and equipment. Mentor and guide junior engineers. What You'll Bring: 8+ years of relevant engineering experience (required) Strong understanding of engineering principles and design methodologies Proficiency in CATIA V5 / CAD software Experience with Volvo Group systems (KOLA, PDM LINK, CREO View) is highly preferred Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team Self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills Concise and precise communication style Team-oriented and collaborative approach Benefits: Competitive salary ($95,000 - $105,000 + DOE) Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) Paid time off (PTO)
