We're growing our Engineering team and looking for talented Engineers to work in our U.S. Manufacturing Plants.
We are seeking a skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team at Schreiber Foods. In this role, you will optimize production processes, ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing of food products, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, maintain product quality, and enhance overall production performance. Your responsibilities will include equipment optimization, process capability improvements, FMEA, risk reduction, and close teamwork with various departments.
This position is 100% on-site at our Beloit, Wisconsin plant.

Lead manufacturing engineering initiatives for a product sub-category, collaborating across the business and engineering teams. Develop and implement strategies to enhance capability, capacity, and process optimization aligned with organizational goals. Mentor and train manufacturing engineers in engineering tools, methodologies, and skills. Assess existing processes, identify improvements in efficiency, productivity, and cost reduction. Design and execute process improvements to increase yield, reduce waste, and streamline operations while adhering to food safety standards. Work with Process Excellence and Data Science teams to utilize data for process optimization. Support scale-up of new products from concept to production, ensuring seamless integration. Partner with Maintenance and Reliability teams to ensure equipment uptime and reliability, including predictive maintenance strategies. Lead or assist in new equipment installation or modifications, focusing on maximizing output and minimizing downtime. Use data analysis and statistical methods to identify bottlenecks and variability, implementing data-driven solutions. Conduct FMEA to identify and mitigate risks, working closely with Reliability Engineering. Define and manage manufacturing process control plans, including in-process measurement systems and SPC. Perform process capability studies to ensure product specifications are met and operations are stable. Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Participate in equipment, tools, and materials evaluation for performance and cost-effectiveness, collaborating with Controls Engineering. Support Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives, mentoring teams in these methodologies. Coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality requirements. Work with Controls Engineering to optimize automation and digitalization efforts. Maintain accurate documentation, including manuals, SOPs, and equipment specs. Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans, and customer requirements, including auditing and corrective actions. What you need to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred. 5+ years of engineering experience. Experience in the food industry or related field is a plus. Understanding of food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP, FDA) or ability to learn. Project management experience is advantageous. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with ability to travel about 10%. Eligible partners will receive:
