This full-time, permanent Senior Mechanical Engineer role focuses on designing industrial heat transfer systems using 2D AutoCAD. Salary:
$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Designing industrial heat transfer systems using 2D AutoCAD for approximately 70% of the job role. Occasionally designing in 3D AutoCAD when specifically requested by a customer. Managing and leading a team of engineers, dedicating around 30% of the time to staff management duties. Developing a wide variety of engineering drawings and documentation to support project and manufacturing processes. Engaging continuously with all company products to ensure the most effective and innovative design solutions. Collaborating with production and operations teams to implement designs and resolve manufacturing challenges. Minimum Position Qualifications: Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in 2D AutoCAD mechanical design within a manufacturing environment. At least 4 years of experience in leading engineering teams. Must hold an engineering degree from an accredited institution. A strong preference for working exclusively within the 2D AutoCAD environment. Mandatory U.S. citizenship or Green Card holder status. Residence within a 45-minute commute to the Richfield, Wisconsin area. Solid career history with demonstrated longevity at previous employers. Preferred Qualifications: Proven ability to initiate and drive continuous improvement processes within a design and manufacturing setting. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective team collaboration and leadership. Strong problem-solving abilities with a track record of providing practical solutions in a manufacturing context. Skills: Advanced proficiency in 2D and 3D AutoCAD. Leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and motivate engineering teams.
