Job Title: NDT Technician I Location: San Diego, CA, 92121 Duration: 6 Month (Contract to Hire) Shift Timing: 5:30AM - 2:00PM Qualifications
This entry-level position requires the incumbent to learn, read, comprehend and perform a variety of basic No-destructive Inspection activities, and methods, to assist with a wide variety of parts, assemblies, tooling fixtures and materials to ensure compliance with customer requirements, company specifications and quality requirements. This position typically requires an Associate\'s Degree, Trade School certification, Military Training, or equivalent NDT theory and techniques (preferred) Computer skills (required) Familiar with Non-Destructive Testing Methods, Theories and Techniques Experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of metallic parts Aerospace Industry Experience Experience in manufacturing, military or trade school certification (preferred) Hand tools, manufacturing machinery and equipment (preferred). Time management skills Detail-oriented Ability and willingness to follow instructions Attendance and punctuality Possible Future Positions: NDT II Responsibilities
Learn foundational theory of Non-destructive Inspection and preparing parts for inspection, equipment setup and calibration, compiling inspection data for reporting and statistics, and performing inspections Under direct observation of NDT level 2 or 3 certified personnel, the individual performs inspections by methods in which they are preparing for Level 2 certification. All other duties assigned Work as scheduled, on time and every day. Observe the "Three Circles" with particular focus on company Values. Adherence to all Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality Policies and Procedures
