Job Summary
The Community Bridges, Inc. (CB) Counselor is responsible for ensuring that each participant receives the necessary services to achieve their treatment goals, in collaboration with the treatment team. Counselors familiarize themselves with new participants to provide appropriate counseling based on best practices, and may also deliver educational presentations to participants and their families. Also known as: Counselor, Therapist, Clinician.
Skills/Requirements
Master’s degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy, or social work from a CSWE-accredited program required.
Minimum of one (1) year of full-time behavioral health experience required.
Two (2) years of experience working with adolescents and with the substance abuse population preferred.
Licensure at the associate or independent level with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as a Psychologist, Social Worker, Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Substance Abuse Counselor required.
Current AZ Driver’s License (valid and in good standing).
Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
