Overview
The City of Springfield Prosecutor’s Office in Clark County Municipal Court seeks an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney (APA). Location: Clark County, approximately 45 miles west of Columbus and 25 miles northeast of Dayton. The successful candidate will have interest in criminal law, strong legal research and writing, good time-management skills, and a willingness to participate in trials. The APA must be able to prepare cases from initial filing through trial and appeal and communicate effectively with Court personnel, staff, law enforcement, witnesses, and public officials. The APA must be present in the office during normal hours (8 am–5 pm, Monday through Friday) and routinely travel to and from court. New attorneys encouraged to apply. Successful applicant will gain significant courtroom experience.

Be present in the office during normal work hours and travel to and from court as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Juris Doctorate
Admission to the Ohio Bar pursuant to Section 4705.01 of the Ohio Revised Code
Compensation Starting salary: $67,246.40 - $85,800.00. Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
