Overview
We are seeking an associate or counsel with 4–7 years of transactional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest and experience in debt finance and restructuring, working with a diverse mix of borrowers and lenders on a wide range of financing transactions. Responsibilities
Structure, document, and manage financing transactions from term sheet to closing. Handle secured, unsecured, asset-based, mezzanine, bilateral, syndicated, receivables, acquisition, and cross-border financings. Assist with restructurings, workouts, and other related matters as needed. Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality legal services to clients. Qualifications
JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership (or eligibility) in Maine 4–7 years of substantive transactional experience, ideally in debt finance. Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills. Experience in restructuring, workouts, or bankruptcy is desirable but not required. Ability to manage complex transactions and work effectively in a team environment. To apply
