The Imaging team is responsible for tackling the most difficult problems involving computer vision, perception, electro-optical, infrared, and sensor data. The team develops state-of-the-art imaging systems across both hardware and software. ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Staff Perception Software Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Lexington, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for developing algorithms which will push the boundary of performance of novel, airborne infrared imaging systems in all environments. WHAT YOU WILL DO

Develop cutting-edge image processing techniques for signal improvement, detection, and tracking on high bit-depth, large format, airborne infrared sensors Work with mission operations, hardware, software teams to understand and evaluate current system performance Develop and maintain physics-based “digital twins“ of our airborne sensor systems Establish engineering completion criteria and evaluation metrics for system performance, building tools for unit and integration tests Work with a multi-disciplinary team on challenging problems in a fast-paced environment REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline 10+ years of professional software development experience Expertise with C++, Python, and Linux systems Focus on image processing, computer vision, or machine learning Strong analytical & critical thinking and problem-solving skills and an ability to communicate ideas clearly Team-player, self-motivated, driven, organized Experience with software revision control Demonstrated ability to work effectively on interdisciplinary teams Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

M.S. Or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline Experience with infrared sensor systems US Salary Range: $254,000 - $336,000 USD Anduril is an equal-opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
