Overview

Position: Murex S4C Expert Location: Americas Region (Hybrid in Murex office) Employment Type: Contract Contract Duration: 1 yr (renewal possible) Responsibilities

Provide professional services to Murex clients: in the domain of system integration, business intelligence and data flows through the full lifecycle of MX.3: requirements analysis, configuration build, installation, training, upgrade, and production support. Interact professionally with Murex colleagues and clients. Build, test, and provide support to clients on MX.3 integration modules. Contribute to project implementations. Participate in design, build, and test phases sometimes remotely and other times at the client site as needed. Develop trade workflows and interfaces to set up communication between external platforms and Murex to receive trade and other data feeds, process them, save into the system, and send acknowledgement. Use a combination of MXMLExchange, MXopenconnect, Murex APIs, and Datamart to deliver such solutions. Contribute to functional documentation of the test cases and use cases by the client. Contribute to design documentation for the build process of the product. Develop and maintain end-to-end configuration management packages; install, deploy and test Murex packaged interfaces like MDIT, Markitwire, BSMT and MarkitCredit to receive live and end-of-day data from external providers like Bloomberg, Reuters, Markit, etc. Handle support cases from notification to resolution and validation. Participate in business as usual and project support: follow-up of client open cases through email, CRM portal, phone calls and on-site visits. Develop an understanding of ongoing activities and manage own deliverables/progress. Manage bug fixes and enhancements with the Product Team. Integrate with various teams to deliver the right solution to client. Work with S4C stream leads, Front-Office, Back-Office, or Risk teams to understand requirements and develop solutions for the client. Work with the Product division team to provide timely details on defects – how to reproduce the issue, project/client constraints, and how to validate the fix. Follow up with the S4C stream leads, the Project Manager, and other teams to meet deadlines and participate in regular meetings to ensure timely delivery. Work with technologies including SQL, Unix, and Murex proprietary standards like Murex Scripting Language (MSL), XMLF, etc. for client solutions. Use SQL for end-of-day report generation, STP failure issues, P&L evaluation, and analyzing issues in trade feeds and status. Java programming skills are not essential but are a plus. Familiarity with various Murex proprietary languages and formats: Data Query Language, MSL, XMLF, MxML, etc. Create shell/python scripts for automation of day-to-day manual activities. Understand requirements, analyze problem areas of the current system and behavior of pre-trade and post-trade workflow, and integration points. Qualifications and Skills

Experience with Murex MX.3 integrations and related tools. Proficiency in SQL and Unix environments. Knowledge of Murex proprietary languages and data interfaces (MSL, XMLF, MxML). Ability to develop automated scripts (shell/python). Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
